Overseas Ministry Opportunities
for Christian Therapists
NCF partners with a small number of overseas Christian organizations to provide Christian counseling and training to missionaries and nationals. At the present time we have needs for four Christian psychologists or counselors interested in serving full time in these ministries for a period of at least three years. Both of these locations have sizeable English speaking populations, quality American primary and secondary schools, good medical care and good airline connections to and from the United States. Cornerstone Counseling Center, Chiang Mai, Thailand has openings for two licensed Christian psychologists or counselors interested in serving the missions community in Southeast Asia. This unique Christian Counseling Center has six professional staff including a psychiatrist, a psychologist, a clinical social worker, a physician and two licensed professional counselors. One staff opening is for a doctoral level, licensed psychologist who will serve as Director or Clinical Director of Cornerstone. This position will involve offering direct counseling and consulting services as well as administration and/or clinical supervision. The other position requires specialized training and/or experience working with children and families.
Asia Graduate School of Theology, Manila, Philippines has openings for two counseling or clinical faculty members in its doctoral program in Christian counseling. These core faculty will have responsibilities for teaching, supervising and/or administration in a training program for 15 post MA students working toward their doctoral degrees.
